Established in 2022, WONDU Music Ministry is a dynamic gospel initiative born from a deep spiritual calling to “win and preserve souls for Christ through gospel music.” The name "WONDU," meaning "we are sowing" in Ga, perfectly encapsulates the ministry’s mission: sowing seeds of scripture through spirit-filled songs to expand the Kingdom of God.
WONDU Music Ministry’s heartbeat is the Gospel of Christ. Their vision is simple yet profound—to touch hearts and transform lives through music that exalts Jesus. Every song is a tool for drawing people closer to Christ, encouraging deeper fellowship with the Father, building up the Church, and inspiring believers to experience the Christian journey as a joyful adventure in God’s presence.
The Co-founders of WONDU Music Ministry, Ps. Dr. Emmanuel Sowah and Rev. Anang Sowah, testify to God’s unfailing grace over their 40-year journey in ministry. They view WONDU as an avenue to share the songs God has placed on their hearts, fulfilling the biblical command to “sing to the Lord a new song” (Psalm 96:1). These songs are born out of years of prayer, reflection, and a deep desire to inspire the global Body of Christ.
WONDU’s debut project, The God of Wonders album, is a live recording of eight soul-stirring songs that celebrate God’s majesty, redemption, and unmatched glory. Tracks like “God of Wonders (Ohe Ye Gbeyei),” “God Alone,” and “Redeemed” lead listeners into heartfelt worship and deeper faith.
Led by Anang Sowah and anointed minstrels - Irene Sowah, Leticia Otoo, and ably backed by the Ahiable siblings, the album also showcases a talented instrumental team, including Ehnie Keys on Keyboards, Nii Fret on Bass, Julian Andoh on Electric Guitars and Richkeys on Acoustic Guitar. The album, produced, mixed and mastered by Richkeys, every note is a testament to their commitment to excellence and their passion for exalting Christ. Ps. Dr. Emmanuel Sowah calls the album “a gift to the Body of Christ,” while Rev. Anang Sowah adds, “It is our prayer that every listener experiences the overwhelming joy and power of God’s presence.”
